IKAPENS First gathering at Malang 2012

EEPIS-Online (4/3) A university can be a great and forward due to the contribution of the alumni. This is also done by PENS. since announcing its dependential last February , PENS start to build one by one the foundation for advancing PENS later. One way is to form an organization IKAPENS (PENS Alumni Association).Organization that embodies all the alumni of this PENS was formally endorsed by the director of the EEPIS Ir. Dadet Pramadihanto M.Eng, PhD at the retreat ceremony at Latkesmas Munarjati IKAPENS Lawang, Malang yesterday (3/3). IKAPENS first Working Meeting was held over two days (3-4 March), There are some schedules that discussed in the meeting for the two days which is the validation, preparation of the AD / ART, and discussion forums and Road to Temu Alumni Akbar (Great Alumnus Gathering) to 2013.

Raker IKAPENS attended by 60 participants consisting of alumnus of class 1988 to 2007. Raker was opened with remarks PENS Director, Ir. Dadet Pramadihanto M.Eng, PhD. In his speech Dadet explained that the contribution of the alumnus are needed for the development of a university, so it s expected with the formation of this can be a counterweight IKAPENS in advancing the quality of graduates next EEPIS . In the event, also held discussions with the Forum regarding the extent of the retreat participants PENS progress to date, the participant was very keen to know how big the changes that have been done since graduating alumni of the first PENS (1988), the board also discussed the correlation between IKA and IKAPENS ITS. With the motto IKAPENS "Berbakti Kepada Almamater (Dutiful to almamater)" is expected to contribute all alumni to socialize IKAPENS to all alumni of EEPIS , EEPIS student, and the general public.

At the retreat, the forum questioned the stewardship of IKAPENS that acclamated at the reunion in 2010. And by decision of the forum and the retreat IKAPENS replaced IKAPENS Congress established as hereinafter discussed the AD / ART, IKAPENS senate elections, Chief Election IKAPENS, GABAKA discussion of the three departments (dept. organization, dept. Cooperation and activities, and dept. Raisingfunds) and then  the subsequent establishment of the alumni of the month to hold a grand rally in 2013 which is planned to be held in June 2013 with the following date format.
