EJVED 2012, PENS A Give the Quarter Final Tickets to Polinema A

EEPIS-Online (25/11), East Java varsities English Debate (EJVED) 2012 enters the second day, which is the final round qualifiers. In this final round selected 16 teams from universities in East Java, including the debate team from EEPIS. EEPIS team A qualified for the final round after defeating three opponents in the preliminary round teams yesterday (24/11). And today the EEPIS team A will fight Polinema Team A.

EEPIS team A which is previously escaped the initial or preliminary round. Today will meet with Polinema A at the beginning of this final round. EEPIS team A consisting of Rizki Amalia Miza, Eka Wahyu Widianingsih and Bahtiar Ponco Aji, said  that the team feel confident to face Polinema A with maximum preparation. Previously team Polinema  team A beat EEPIS Team B consisting of Rudy Winarko, Haris Rahadianto and Sandi Star Virgananta Son. Unfortunately, in this round EEPIS team A team must be willing to give up a chance to advance to the quarter-finals to Polinema A. "Although disappointed we keep taking the good side of this competition, hopefully next year we can be a champion and really proud of our EEPIS campus," said Bahtiar, one of the EEPIS team A.

Polinema team A advanced to the quarterfinals with 7 other teams,  UB (Universitas Brawijaya) A, B UB, UB D, UKP (Petra Christian University), Airlangga (Airlangga University) A, UNEJ (Jember State University) A, University of Ma Chung. EJVED closed with UB team A as the winner of this event, followed by the team from Ma Chung and the third posotion won by the UB team D. Congratulations to the winning team, hopefully next year EEPIS can win the championship EJVED 2013. (and/fal)
