EEPIS-Online, Thid Country Training Program(TCTP) is kind of training to provide the participants from Asian and African countries with an opportunity to update and upgrade relevant techniques, knowledge and teaching methodology in design and implementation of application development for mobile devices.
Friday (10/28) Closing Ceremony of TCTP was held. EEPIS Director who was represented by Mr. Aries Patriarso. He said his pride to the participant regarding the well run activities. Therefore he also hoped that participants would implement the experience and result of training into their country. This event was attended by JICA representatives, Fitri Arifin. The representative of Indonesia Secretary of State (Overseas Technical Cooperation), Rika Kiswardani was there by.
Program that had been held for 22 days in EEPIS was followed by 9 countries from Asia and Africa. Many activities had been done in this training. The training involving practice and theory training. Company visit into 5 Indonesian company. Special lecture from Japan Lecture and Bali Madura tour.
Some appreciation has been awarded to participant who has great achievement in such field. The Best Participant in Embedded Programming For Robotic Navigation awarded to Martin Ngure Juma (Kenya), Basic Android Development raised by Thourn Kosorl (Cambodia). Instead the best participant, comittee was also giving prize for winner of Android Roborace which held a day before closing by Rika Kiswardani.
As a kind of appreciation towards comittee training, they gave special performance. They sang Indonesian song entitled of "Di sini senang di sana senang". Led by Minangi Kenneth Kimani (Kenya), they were singing together delightfully. No more just song, their token of appreciations was also shown by Nepal handycraft given by Ambika Prasad Baral. The day was officially closed by having lunch and taking pictures .(dip/rio/mel)
