"IMG_0600.jpg"EEPIS-Online, As reported in previous news, PENS students worked with students from South Korea (PNU) to Engineering Services in Surabaya. The event was held for three days (13-15 January 2011). This team consisted of 24 students, 8 students from PENS, and 16 others from South Korea (PNU).

According to Professor Seo Young Boung, 24 students were divided into three teams, namely RedIK, One, and Koin Dulur. Each team consists of 8 students, a mix between South Korea and Indonesia. Project done anything different for each team.

RedIK team consists of 4 Korean students and 4 PENS student. They work on the project and Light Solar Panel Solar Panel Waterproff. Solar Panel Light Project executed entirely by students of PENS, while for Solar Panels Waterproff done by South Korean student. Both these street lights use sunlight as a source of strength.

"IMG_0584.jpg"All members of Satu Team is a South Korean student. The team is working on Small Street Light project. The working principle of Small Street Light is same as street lamp RedIK made by the team, but the size and shape are different. These lights are smaller and has round shape, except that these lights also have sensors that can detect the number of people around the lamp. More and more people around the lamp, the flame will light the light, whereas if the people around a little light, the LEDs will also be dimmed.

The last project which made by the ESC team is Water Purify. This tool is designed to filter turbid water to clean water. This tool is made by KoIN Dulur Team. The members of KoIN Dulur Team are 8 students, 4 students from Korea and 4students from PENS. (dip/rar)
