EEPIS-Online, One more pride achievement has managed to carve a good name in EEPIS scaffolding environmentally friendly technology. EEPIS robotics is famous for, but not necessarily PENS not good at anything else. This is evidenced by the winning team EVC (Electric Vehecle Community) in the bevel (UB Electric Vehecle) Competition in UB, Malang. Competition that was held over two days (18-19 of December 2010) was followed by six teams. EVC team that fell on the Bara Yohantomo this event as the Manager of the team, then there is Muhammad Adib H. S., Ahmad Zaky Fanani, and Happy April.
There is no way that is always smooth, as well as with team pride is majoring in Electrical Industry. In making this environmentally friendly vehicles too many obstacles they face. Initially, they admit to making a simple vehicle is not easy. Besides requiring an intelligent mechanical sciences, also need to supply adequate funding. However, this team did not break the spirit. With the help of sponsorship funds from the Bank JATIM, private funds, and self-help of all students majoring in Electrical Engineering Industry, the team is steadily moving toward the race. "Whatever happens, we must do our best and can win, that s our motivation so that we can win," Adib said one of the team.
In this race, participants are required to drive electric cars to travel a distance of 11.5 km. In addition, participants also still have to pass through a damaged race, such as various kinds of obstacles and bumps. Unfriendly weather conditions were a challenge which must be passed by the participants. However, all these challenges remain tailored to the theme Bevel Competition, "Introduction to college students with 45 minutes with a distance of 11.5 km to the damaged road conditions and bad weather."
There are so many expectations to be achieved by the EVC team, "Also want to continue being jurara in every race that followed, we also wanted to create a commercial electric car that can be enjoyed by the community.", Said adib.
