Surabaya, pens.ac.id – The EEPIS big family Halalbihalal was again held offline on Tuesday (2/5), at the 6th floor Auditorium of the EEPIS Postgraduate Building. Attended by all directors, lecturers, and employees, the annual activity in the month of Shawwal was a success. Coinciding with the commemoration of National Education Day, the former Indonesian Minister of Education and Culture, Prof. Dr. Ir. Mohammad Nuh as the filler of tausiyah in this halalbihalal.

In his speech, Mohammad Nuh discussed the initial concept of being a winner by being grateful. Grateful for the opportunity to receive higher education and become an educational staff by serving the community to meet educational needs. Apart from that, the member of the EEPIS Trustees Board also invited all participants not to turn off other people's light, but to raise our own light so that it is more dominant as a form of tolerance. “It is hoped that PENS can plan all the best for the future. Don't turn off other people's light, but magnify our own," he said.

The Halalbihalal began with the appearance of a band from lecturers and staff who performed several popular songs and then continued with the recitation of the holy verses of the Al-Quran by EEPIS students who have achievements in National Al-Quran recitations. Opening by Ali Ridho Barakbah, S.Kom., Ph.D. not escape from this annual routine agenda. The Director of EEPIS this time appealed to the entire academic community to create a Corruption-Free Area Integrity Zone (ZI-WBK) within the EEPIS environment by socializing it to all groups. "Avoid corruption, collusion, nepotism (KKN), greed, and uphold honesty to maintain integrity," added the Director of EEPIS.

Halalbihalal is closed with distribution door prize to all lecturers and staff and then a friendly session. There are hundreds of prizes provided by the committee, including household appliances, voucher shopping, electronic equipment, to bicycles. The successful activity was held lively and invited laughter at the prize distribution session. By holding this activity, it is hoped that we can build friendship in order to achieve a shared vision and mission in the future as the theme of Halalbihalal is "Let's Establish Friendship, Maintain Harmony for Institutional Development".
