In the ceremonial procession this time, the Director of PENS namely Ali Ridho Barakbah, S.Kom, Ph.D. as the supervisor of the ceremony delivered the mandate from the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek).

The speech contained messages addressed to teachers in Indonesia to continue with the Ministry of Education and Culture in making changes and updates for the future of education in Indonesia. In the speech, he also explained about the Freedom Learning Platform to meet the needs of teachers for space to study, work, and collaborate. In addition, the Ministry of Education and Culture always opens opportunities for teachers to take part in other programs such as the Teacher Mobilization program and the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program. Not only that, the speech delivered by the Director of PENS also discussed the welfare of teachers who need to be supported by continuing to prioritize the appointment of honorary teachers as State Civil Apparatuses (ASN) through the selection of ASN Government Employees with Employment Agreements (ASN PPPK).

It is hoped that with the appreciation at this commemoration, it will become a momentum for teachers to continue to be at the forefront of education in Indonesia and students will also appreciate the services of teachers more because being a teacher is not a small thing. “Students have an obligation to respect teachers because being a teacher is not an easy matter. Not everyone can become a teacher. To become a teacher requires patience and a strong educator soul. Therefore, we must specialize them as well as possible," said Kholid Fathoni, S.Kom., MT, as the Head of the EEPIS Creative Multimedia Technology Department (DTMK). (may/irf)
